CATALYST Chassis
The revolutionary CATALYST platform has been built from the ground up to optimize every aspect of your ride, so much so that you’ll feel like you’re one with your sled. With enhanced ergonomics, a lower center of gravity, our exclusive laydown engine design, specially calibrated suspension and more, this changes everything.
NAVIGATION AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
ARCTIC CAT G8 DIGITAL DISPLAY
The all new Arctic Cat G8 digital display, powered by Garmin, offers seamless integration with your sled. A built in GPS with preloaded trail maps, customizable data fields and phone connectivity are just some of the features that make G8 essential for every ride. Plus, the group ride functionality utilizes satellite or celluar data, dependent on region, to share the ride with up to 15 people.
SMOOTH POWER DELIVERY
ADAPT™ CVT
With its lightweight, narrow design that increases performance and belt life, as well as the industry’s only self-adjusting clutch, the ADAPT™ CVT system provides better throttle response, smoother power delivery and a ride like no other.
CONFIDENCE-INSPIRING HANDLING
AWS 42 FRONT SUSPENSION WITH PROGRESSIVE RATIO STEERING
The AWS 42 Front Suspension is engineered specifically to compliment the ZR 600. With ratio steering to reduce rider effort, you’ll experience more control.
AWS 42 FRONT SUSPENSION WITH PROGRESSIVE RATIO STEERING
AWS 42 is the culmination of over 40 years of experience with the Arctic Wish Suspension, optimized for trail riding. By centralizing the weight distribution, the suspension now sits directly under the rider, giving them more flexibility to move around on the sled, as well as giving them more control. This also puts more of the sled’s weight on the skis, improving balance.
With a progressive steering ratio, riders will feel the difference immediately. The sled will react to the slightest movement, making the ZR 600 feel like a natural extension of the rider’s body.
NO ROUGH RIDES
SLIDE-ACTION™ REAR SUSPENSION
The uncoupled CROSS-ACTION rear suspension provides unparalleled agility from powder to hardpack. The design enables the front and rear halves of the suspension to move independently, so riders enjoy excellent cornering and bump absorption on the trail, as well as off-trail weight transfer.
SLIDE-ACTION™ REAR SUSPENSION
Unlock the true potential of a coupled suspension with our unique SLIDE-ACTION design. The front arm fits into a U-shaped slot that allows 0.5 inches of sliding movement, so the front won’t collapse whenever the rear arm compresses. That unique design gives you the full benefit of coupling: controlled ski lift during acceleration and the complete use of the front arm at all times. SLIDE-ACTION suspension also allows a lower and more consistent track tension with its Torque-Sensing Link, as well as three-position rear coupling block adjustability, adjustable spring preload and a durable 3-wheel rear axle assembly.
LIGHTWEIGHT, YET POWERFUL
600-Series C-TEC2 Engine
This robust, yet lightweight 599cc, 125-HP C-TEC2™ engine with Dual-Stage Injection (DSI) offers more than enough power to carve up the backcountry or conquer the trails, while keeping the sled feeling weightless.
REDESIGNED 600-CLASS C-TEC2 ENGINE
Featuring an ECM-controlled electronic oil pump, battery-free electronic fuel injection, exhaust pipe temperature sensor, knock sensor and more, this 600-series engine packs a serious punch. The crankshaft and fuel management system have been redesigned, and the exhaust servo increases torque by creating back-pressure at a lower RPM.
The 599cc, 125-HP CTEC2 engine with DSI is mounted with our Torque Control Link (TCL) and a clutch guard.
VERSATILE SUSPENSION
ATAC® ADJUSTABLE ON-THE-FLY SUSPENSION
The ATAC Adjustable On-the-Fly Suspension immediately adjusts the FOX® ZERO iQS shocks with the push of a button to navigate changing snow conditions. Choose between two rider profiles, three firmness settings and engage lockout mode to ride your way.
INCREASED DURABILITY
ARCTIC CAT TRAIL BELT DRIVE
The CATALYST platform utilizies Arctic Cat’s belt drive system rather than a chain drive. This allows for enahnced durability and fewer parts in the system. The adjustable center distance allows for multiple ratio options and makes servicing simple.
QUICKLY CONNECT
ATACH LATCHING SYSTEM
Adding accessories to your sled is a snap with this 4-point latching system. You can install and remove accessories in seconds, so no matter where you are, you can customize your sled with ease.
BRIGHTEN ANY RIDE
ASYMMETRICAL LED HEADLIGHT
A premium LED headlight is crucial to optimize your visibility. Equipped with both high and low beams, this headlight casts an LED light pattern with great range and width. Plus, with it’s unique asymmetrical design, everyone will know that you’re on an Arctic Cat.
